This presentation provides comprehensive training for educators on the Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP) to ensure a rapid, coordinated, and effective response to cardiac emergencies in schools. Attendees will learn how to recognize signs of sudden cardiac arrest, perform CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and understand their roles and responsibilities during an emergency. Investigate the research behind problem solving practices in math by jigsawing a short chapter for key points from John SanGiovanni’s Book titled Daily Routines Jump Start Problem Solving. Delve into various problem solving routines that can be adapted to any elementary grade level. Books with resources will be raffled off at the end of the session.
