This presentation provides comprehensive training for educators on the Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP) to ensure a rapid, coordinated, and effective response to cardiac emergencies in schools. Attendees will learn how to recognize signs of sudden cardiac arrest, perform CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and understand their roles and responsibilities during an emergency. The presentation covers critical steps for communication with emergency services, conducting regular practice drills, and legal considerations for staff. Investigate the research behind problem solving practices in math by jigsawing a short chapter for key points from John SanGiovanni’s Book titled Daily Routines Jump Start Problem Solving.
